Shoes

Ella decided one night that she wanted to sleep with her shoes on. I am not sure what inspired this, but she was insistent, so anyway when I came in after she was asleep I had to get a picture. Ella loves to be fancy at all times, the more color or sparkles something has the happier she is. I think that is why she wanted to sleep with these shoes on, because they are purple zebra print with sequins!
Hunter has in own interest in shoes as well. He loves to go around and find other peoples shoes and then put them on all by himself. He will walk around the house saying shoes all day long. His favorite shoes are Ella's because they are just the perfect size, big enough to put on and small enough that he doesn't trip in them.

Pass It Along

I have some dear friends who are trying to get the word out about their desire to adopt! I thought through the power of blogging I could help. So check out their button "Dustin and Nicole" on the side of my blog and if you know anyone who is interested pass it along to them. This is an amazing family who will give some special child a great life! Also if you feel so inclined you can add this button to your blog and help the message get out even more!

Thank you!

Happy Halloween!

We had a lot of activities going on this Halloween and I think we may have worn out the kids a little. But we had a great time and I will say it again, I love this time of year!
Mike and I were vegetarian vampires this year, it was an easy costume to pull off!

Hunter was my little monkey (which I think was very fitting).
Monkey and Ladybug! (Thank you Old Navy)

Not only did we trick or treat this year but we had a fun party at my cousins house. One game we played was the doughnut game, where everyone has to eat the doughnut off the string with out using their hands.
The week before Halloween, the elementary school had a carnival where all the kids got to be dressed up and play games and eat cotton candy. Plus it was another reason to wear their costumes!

Murder Mystery Halloween Party

For Halloween, Mccall and I decided to throw a party. Not just any party, but a murder mystery with costumes and characters and everything. It was so fun, and I am glad we decided to do something festive for one of my favorite holidays!

We had a yummy potluck and everyone brought "Halloween" themed food. It was so fun to see what people brought and everyone got really creative.
Mike's character was the guy who ends up getting murdered, and he did a great job. In fact all the guys got really into the game and I think they had a pretty fun time.
Everyones costumes were great and I loved seeing how creative people could get.

My character was the eccentric cat lady who wore mismatching clothes. I had fun feeling so over the top!
Mike really got into his character and I thought he did a great job making his costume.

This is the Halloween dish that won a prize. I loved it and thought it was so cute.
