A couple of weeks ago Ella was sleeping in bed with us and in the very early hours of the morning she woke up, looked at me, and without missing a beat says, "mom is there a baby in your tummy?" I thought this was a little random and wondered where she got this idea. Well my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to see if Ella was right. Sure enough, she was, and I found out that I was in fact pregnant. Ella is very excited and desperately wants a sister, Mike is trying to figure out how we can possibly add another child to the family, and Hunter is completely oblivious to the whole thing. Our family is very happy to be expanding and growing and we can't wait to welcome this little baby in the summer of 2010!

Lion King

My parents decided they really wanted to take Ella to see the Lion King in Las Vegas, luckily for me they thought Ella might be too young to go with just them, so I go to go along too! It was a really fun little trip and Ella loved Lion King, she is still pretending to be Nala. The only catch was the actual traveling. While I thought Ella did pretty good for only being three, she was still a little overwhelmed by the whole process. We had to get up really early and between the security check point and the escalator she was frazzled. Anyway it was really fun and I am so glad that Ella got to have this experience.
