Valentine's Weekend

This Valentine's weekend we were very lucky to have family come and visit. It is so fun to have cousins over, and to have other adults to just hang out with. Also if they had not been here I think our Valentine's day would have been a little dull! On Saturday we had dinner with some friends and chocolate fondue. Then on Sunday we had a nice family dinner that was very festive and a cute scavenger hunt for the kids and husbands to find their Valentine candy! It was a great weekend and my only regret is that we did not get any card games in!

Maui Trip 2010

This year we we were lucky enough to go to Maui. It is just what we need during these long cold winter months, and I loved the time with family. We did lots of fun activities like going to the beach, snorkeling, snow cones, and the aquarium. We also celebrated Ella's birthday while we were there and spent some good quality time just relaxing!

We also got snow cones on a daily basis and they were the perfect way to cool off.

There is a huge banyan tree that is so beautiful and amazing!

We also spent a lot of time playing in the pool, hot tub, and reading books on the lawn.

For Ella's birthday my dad got a big air jumper for the lawn and the kids had a good old time jumping and sliding. We also had a BBQ and lots of swimming!

All Ella wanted was a cake with candles and she did not believe that it was her birthday until the cake was in her line of vision!

This was our day at the aquarium, it was a great way to see all of the amazing animals up close and Ella absolutely loved it.

We had lots of amazing dinners, but this was a fun one because we got to eat lobster and the guys got bibs!

One day we got to take a boat out and go to some great snorkeling places. Also we got to see whales and have a BBQ lunch on the boat. I would definitely do this again!

I was very sad to leave because it was just so fun and relaxing to be out playing in the sun, which is something that we miss during the winter time. I love that the kids get to experience new things and we get to have this time together as a family!
