From San Francisco we headed down to the L.A. area where Mike's family lives and also where Mike had some more business going on. We stayed at the hotel that Mike's mom manages and the kids LOVE staying there. They get waffles in the morning, swimming in the afternoon, and free roaming rights all over the place. Not to mention access to ice cream sandwiches whenever their little hearts desire. Anyway we had so much fun going to Disneyland, playing with cousins, and just enjoying some very nice weather.

Hunter got into my makeup the first day we were there. I couldn't believe how fast he was, I was standing right next to him, but bam! I turn to look at him and this is what I found.

The first thing we did while we were in L.A. was go to Disneyland. One of my favorite places and I think it is now Ella's too!

We saw a lot of princesses and Ella loved getting to see all of her favorites

Ella also loved going on this carousel with an underwater theme. She went on at least 3 times.

This was the best part of the whole experience! I highly recommend going to Ariel's grotto for lunch, although you need a reservation, it was well worth it. Ella got to see almost all of the princesses from our lunch booth and it was great!

Cinderella was the first to come around...

...And then Sleeping Beauty!

Next Belle came by...

...And lastly Snow White.

We also got a great lunch that was served tea party style with lots of little treats and bites.

This is Ella enjoying a white chocolate seashell for dessert.

On our second day in Disneyland the first thing we saw was Alice, The Queen of Hearts, and the Mad hatter. But of course Ella only wanted her picture taken with Alice.

Ella was so excited to see all of these princesses and yet was so shy that she didn't want to even talk to them. Go figure!

This is inside of a Small world, but you can't really tell. both kids loved this ride and was the winner for best ride this year.

The kids watching t.v. in our hotel room. They loved it.

After Disneyland we spent some time at Mike's parents house. They did some really fun things for the kids and had some great Easter activities going on.

First the kids dyed eggs outside in their underwear (can't do that in Idaho)

Then there was an easter egg hunt and they had to find some Easter baskets too.

They loved looking around for toys and eggs. It was like Christmas.

It was such a great trip, we had so much fun with all of our family and I know the kids had a great time. Ella still talks about when she gets to go back to California and be with her grandparents again. Until next year!
