3 Little Kittens

A few weeks ago we came outside in our backyard to play and we found a mom cat with 3 little kittens living under our house! The mom cat must have sensed my own pregnancy hormones because of course I decided right there and then that we had to start feeding them and we could under no circumstances separate this cute little family! (Mike was really excited to hear this) So for now we have 4 cats living in our yard, which Ella has named: Snowball, crystal, diamond, and lilly.

Its amazing how good Ella is with these little cats, they just love her and will come right up to her and let her pet them- the mom cat still hisses at me! Anyway Ella will spend hours sitting on the steps just watching and quietly talking to them without even trying to touch them, I think that is why they trust her so much.

Cinco De Mayo

We have been celebrating Cinco De Mayo all week, and who new it could be such a festive holiday! First we had a game night last week complete with margaritas and fun games, and then this weekend we went to a potluck with lots of yummy mexican food and 5 Pinatas full of candy. The kids were in heaven!

This is Mike hitting at the deer pinata. This thing was made of steel and the guys were hilarious trying to hit at it while being blindfolded.

This is the pinata I made, I was very proud of it, mostly because I thought of it all on my own.

The kids loved going after all of the candy and they got to do it 5 times. I think it was better than Halloween.

By the end of the party Ella was using Hunter's hat to hold all her candy. She loved getting so much at one time.
