This post is long over due since I took this trip about a month ago now, but the pictures are so fun, I just had to post them!
Anyway over memorial day weekend my parents called me and said that Peter Pan the play was playing in San Francisco and they would love to take Ella, but it was only there for a few weeks. So very last minute with all of the stars aligning, Ella and I were able to hop on a flight and stay with my parents for a whole week. We had so much fun and we did not want to leave at the end (we actually were only supposed to be there for 4 days but extended our trip twice). We ate amazing food, saw some great plays, and got to see all of the fun tourist spots that I love!
This was a yummy breakfast at the Cliff House.
Ella and my dad went crazy in China town. Ella got a china outfit, shoes, a purse, and a matching doll. She wore the outfit for the entire week, including bedtime.
Here is her full outfit with matching braids.
My mom and Ella went to see Peter Pan. They had a special date night together.
My mom said Peter Pan was amazing, but that it was a little to scary for Ella, so they ended up leaving early.
One day we drove out to the east bay where I used to live and I got to see the family I used to nanny for. It was so fun because they have grown up so much and they played so cute with Ella.
My parents being all romantic at dinner.
Ella loved eating Chinese food in here china outfit and using chopsticks.
We took the kids on the trolly, which is something you have to do while in San Francisco.
We also got yummy sundaes at Ghirardelli square.
Ella and I got to go see Wicked one night and that was so fun. Ella loved wicked and I was surprised at how much she loved and understood the play.
One last great dinner before we had to leave, and it was fantastic! I miss great seafood.
It was such a fun trip and we got to do so much in a short amount of time. It was also a much needed getaway and one last Hurrah before baby number 3 comes.
