I love fall and I love Halloween! This year we did lots of fun things to celebrate this time of year.
We went to the pumpkin patch where the kids got to pick out their pumpkins from the patch, explore a corn maze, and ride a little train around the farm.
We also went to a really fun Halloween party. There was a chili cook-off, homemade rootbeer, music, dancing, and lots of fun costumes!
On Saturday we had a fun little Halloween party with my cousins where we had a nice dinner, the doughnut game, and of course lots of trick-or-treating! Ella has about 3 different costumes this year. She was a pumpkin princess, Alice in Wonderland for her school party, and a China doll for the trick-or-treating party. Lily was a little pumpkin, and Hunter was a cute little skeleton. So I decided to make Mike a skeleton too. I was so proud of this costume because it only cost me about $3 to make. I just took white fabric tape and a black pair of pants and fleece jacket that Mike already owned and Ta Da!!! Instant costume.
Since today was actually halloween I thought it would be fun to have a fun little dinner for the kids. We had spooky mummy dogs, cheesy potatoes, and carmel apples. I just had to drag out the holiday one more day...
I love Halloween!!!!
