This weekend we made a very quick and busy trip to Utah to see family and to celebrate. We left Saturday morning and took the kids right to the Discovery Gateway museum in Salt Lake. Since Hunter's birthday is coming up, we wanted to do something special to celebrate. The kids loved it and Hunter especially loved the tractor/construction area. He stayed there almost the entire time and never got sick of building. Of course Ella loved the play house area where she got to take care of babies and cook up meals. I thought it was really busy and not very well supervised, but the kids had a great time and that is what really counts. Next we were off to my sister's house where we had dinner together and visited with family. It was great to spend time together and by the end of the night we were exhausted.
Sunday morning we woke up and had the amazing buffet breakfast from Little America (which is one of my favorites) and we were quickly off to the church where we blessed my new little nephew.
After we said goodbye to my side of the family we went to Mike's aunt's house for a big birthday celebration for Hunter and Andrew (Hunter's cousin who is only 2 days older). The kids got to have a big Easter egg hunt and play outside with horses for a couple of hours (pure heaven for these kids). Then we all played "Just Dance 2" on the Wii, which was both fun and hilarious to watch.
It was a great weekend with lots of fun celebrating with family, and there is nothing I love more than getting to spend time with all of our loved ones.
I only wish I would have taken more pictures, but for some reason I am in a photography funk lately and I just didn't get nearly as many pictures and I wanted to!

We have 'Just Dance 4 Kids' over at our house - and we love it! You're right, it's fun + hilarious all at the same time :)
I am glad you finally went to Discovery Gateway but sad you went on a Saturday. We have been when our kids are almost the ONLY ones playing downstairs and that is so much more fun then when it is packed with kids. Either way I love it there and my girls do too. Glad you had fun with family.
