The Wonder Years

I am starting a new series called The Wonder Years. Have you ever watched that show? The Wonder Years comes on every night and I love when I get to catch an episode, it really is one of my favorites. I love the nostalgic feeling of the sixties and I am convinced I would have made a great teenager in 1965. I also love that the concept is about Kevin narrating his own childhood memories and that got me thinking...

It would be wonderful to record all of my own favorite childhood memories (and more), so that one day my kids might be able to look back and read about their own parents and see us from a different perspective.

Also, since I am trying to simplify my life as much as possible, it made sense to just record this on my blog and keep it all in one place (I tend to over- journal,scrapbook, and record things).

So stay tuned for stories about everything from our childhood to the day Mike and I got married, and if this is incredibly boring (which I imagine for most it will be) just skip any post with the title The Wonder Years in it ( don't worry I won't be offended).
