Ella's Valentine Party

Ella decided this year she wanted a Valentine themed party. She was very specific in what she wanted and she pretty much came up with the whole party herself. She wanted to play games, make valentines and pass them out to each other, and then have cake. So that is exactly what we decided to do and I think it turned out to be a pretty fun day.

This Is A Baby Bumble...

This is how a baby bumblebee learns to walk!

My girl is getting there. She is cruising on the furniture and climbing up the stairs. Every day she makes progress and every day she works so hard to get there.

Baby Bumblebee

Have you heard the children's song "I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee"? It is a song we sing a lot around here. Ella loved it when she was a baby and Lily loves it too.

The other day Mike said that Lily is our own little bumblebee because bumblebees shouldn't be able to fly and yet they do.

Lily is able to do things that she shouldn't, and I am so proud of her. Everyday I see how motivated she is to learn and grow, and everyday I see how hard she has to work to get there.

I found out the other day that Lily gets to start at a toddler preschool program in May. I am so excited for this opportunity and I know being around other kids will motivate her even more.

Hunter got to participate in this same program when he was a toddler and we saw such a huge difference in him after a few short months.

I just can't wait to see what else our little bumblebee can do!

My New Obsession

I have a new obsession. An addiction really. I know I am behind and everyone else is already obsessed and addicted, but I just have to share how much I love me some Pinterest!!!!

First, I should have invented Pinterest, because I have been doing stuff like this since I can remember. I used to cut out magazine articles that I liked and I would file them in a binder. Then with the internet I started to bookmark any website that I thought was interesting. Now with Pinterest there is a place to hold all of my favorite ideas, Brilliant!!!

Second, I love getting ideas from other people. Everyone does all of the work for me and then I just get to pin whatever I like, Brilliant!!!!
