Lily Turns Two

Lily had her second birthday this summer and we all celebrated. It was a Tinkerbell theme because Lily is just so small she reminds us of Tinkerbell. We had a yummy dinner and then cake and ice cream. We also let all of the kids play outside and then did a PiƱata for the little ones. It was a great party and I think Lily really knew that the big celebration was just for her.

These last few pictures are of Lily getting a dolly for her birthday. I just thought they were so cute I had to share.

Summer So Far...

Summer so far has been fun and full of activities...
Trips on airplanes

Sleep overs with cousins

Night at the Drive In

Hot days spent swimming

Seeing Spider Man in the Theaters

Climbing the walls

Rocket Ships going into space

Getting new toys for the back yard

Rides on  the carousel

Playing outside four hours on end

Splashing at the Splash park

It has been a fun and exhausting summer!

Going, Going, Gone

This summer Ella has been losing teeth! It has taken most of the summer for these little guys to fall out, because no matter how loose they got, she refused to let anyone pull them. She has been very excited
about the Tooth Fairy coming to pay her lots of visits and her adult teeth are already growing in!

Camping

Earlier in the summer we got to go camping and we all had such a fun time that we want to go back and do it again before the summer ends! We shot guns (I just watched), we went fishing, four wheeling,
exploring, and eating. We made tin foil dinners and a super yummy cobbler in our new dutch oven. We also had to make Smores too because it just isn't camping without some roasted marshmallows.

We were at a great fishing spot where we were all able to catch something, even if they were a little on the small side.

We explored all of these old cabins and in one we found a newspaper from December 24, 1923. It was so cool to see such old artifacts perfectly preserved in these little log cabins.

This was our yummy cobbler. It tasted so good while we were out there camping, it was a real treat.
